Ben Lawers 1140m (3997ft) -
Situated on the north bank of Loch Tay, Ben Lawers offer commanding views over the loch and northwards over the Southern and Central Highlands.
Although Ben Lawers is almost one of Scotland's 4000ft mountains, the ascent is straightforward and uses well defined paths that start some way up the mountain at The National Trust for Scotland Ben Lawers centre.

Walkabout Scotland is a young and vibrant company dedicated to showing people the beautiful mountainous countryside of the Scottish Highlands.
The day trips on offer are a selection of mountains and fine walking areas thoughout the Southern highlands, all inside 2.5 hours drive of Edinburgh. All are within the capabilities of moderately fit people and you don't need to be an experienced hill walker.
We provide pick up and transport from Edinburgh (or en route by arrangement), lunch on the hill, qualified mountain leaders and excitement and entertainment all day! We also provide walking equipment (hats, gloves, waterproof jackets) and boot hire.
Walking groups are small, sociable and international. |
